Gorica and Jeremy were married at Gosford Golf Club recently. Here is the black and white theme for the wedding fuction of Jeremy and Gorica’s wedding at Gosford Golf Clubs Wedding Function room. The food, service and views are second to none.
David and Ros have just booked Wedding Stills to look after their December wedding in Sydney. Here is my version of Ros’s portrait which we did while discussing their day. Thanks to Ros’s Mum Cindy for holding the reflector. Big studio glamour look with just two small lights. Let me know if you need me in Hong Kong guys!
Awesome! You didn’t waste any time with getting that done. She looks gorgeous!
I don't want any new holes in that reflector Heath ..
How about a kiss you two?
Jodie and Heath
.. booked Wedding Stills today for their December 2011 wedding at Hunter Resort, Pokolbin. 5 seconds after we took this shot Heath slid down that rock. He was supposed to be whispering in her ear.
Thanks so much Sam the day was a blast and the photos look great!
Ancient trees, great shade, full sun, whatever you want
Rustic .. great backdrop and even better page background for your photobook
.. and this is what we can do with old timber .. Lisa's official Facebook photo .. for the time being
A couple of weeks ago I went with a couple (Matt and Lisa, whose wedding I am doing in December) to the beautiful old homestead at Tocal, just out of Maitland. Here are a couple of shots from the day, albeit without the couple. If you have landed here because you are looking at Tocal Homestead for your wedding venue, then please consider. For you, value for money, Australiana backdrop for your day and a country theme. For your photographer? Plenty of backgrounds to choose from, a short walk around the grounds to keep giving you visual interest and most of all for a photographer .. the ability in this location to achieve great light, even in the middle of the day.
Amber and Shane were married at beautiful Wandin Valley Estate in the Hunter vineyards. This was a photographers paradise, great light, enough time (thank you Amber), stunning backdrops, freedom to move around the estate and choose the settings, vines, water, bush, australiana .. love it. Did I mention that these two were absolutely fantastic to work with? Nothing was a problem for them.
“.. so many amazing shots to choose from. We will send you the book back early next week.”
Natalie and Jeremy were married at Swadling Reserve, Toowoon Bay with a stunning backdrop to the Pacific Ocean. Besides watching the ceremony performed by Celebrant Sonia Harman, guests were treated to seeing whales breach in the background on their annual winter migration to the north. Their reception was at Manons House, Bateau Bay.
Nicolas Paul on his property in Western NSW. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality for the weekend Nicolas and Sharon. Wedding Stills will be doing Nicolas and Sharons wedding later this year.
Are all your written notes are all over the place and not synced between you laptop and computer?
I recently trialled (and I’m now using full time) a great little program called All My Notes. It is a free application that will consolidate all your “notes”. This puts into one place all the “post it” notes you have on your screen in W7, can replace many short Word docs that you have all over the place and can replace the “Tasks” list in Outlook.
There is a paid deluxe version that does some extra things, which I intend to get. The paid version can add hyperlinks, icons, priorities, password protection and paste images into a note, etc. And the paid version is much better value than MS One Note.
You can use it for “to do” lists, internet addresses and links (favourites and bookmarks), addresses, jotting down ideas and plans, passwords, banking details, phone numbers and more. There are many more suggestions on the site and you are limited only by your imagination.
You can run this on your PC, laptop and flashdrive and, if you want to, you can sync betweent them. The site and help menu tells you how (pass it through Dropbox).
Brides, you can manage your wedding plans by keeping all your digital notes, records, log in details and emails (cut and paste them into it) in one place. Any planning or people you need to contact, make a note of. Any milestones or due by dates, make a note of. This is the digital version of the traditional “shoebox” where you drop all your records or your paper folder where you keep your clippings, ideas and planning. Yes you can “copy” images from websites and drop them into a note but only with the paid version. But not much to spend to greatly improve your productivity. Great value, even if you buy the full version.
So .. how many people can you get into a stretch??
Memories Function Centre
One happy bride on the dance floor
Those are really long legs
Angela and Leonard were married at and had their reception at the award winning Memories Function Centre, Wallsend. Angela looked like a hollywood star and Leonard wasn’t too bad either, very debonair. They were very comfortable with each other and werent’ hard to photograph at all. Patricia from Natalies Limousines was very flexible and accomodating for what the couple and photographer needed. Thank you Patricia.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK THANK YOU!!!!!!! Took us ages to get the computer to co-operate but was amazing when we got it to work!!!! (Angela, via Facebook)
Rikki and Nathan were married at North Entrance Surf Club. Rikki didn’t wear the traditional white, opting for a shorter and more colourful gown. She wore it well. They didn’t need any coaching for the intimate shots, these two were very comfortable with each other. Here are small selection. They also have an online slideshow on the Photodex server where Wedding Stills has an account. SLIDESHOW HERE
“.. thank you very much for doing an excellent job on our photos - we hope you had as much fun taking them as we did looking through them! .. Cheers, Nathan and Rikki”
